C18 Phases: SP-ODS-BP

The ODS-BP Series provides enhanced selectivity and strong retention for hydrophilic and polar compounds that are poorly retained on traditional ODS phases. Our proprietary modification technique avoids the phase collapse effect of the C18 chains typically seen with ODS phases under high water content mobile phase conditions. The ODS-BP Series demonstrates longer lifetime in aqueous eluents and can even be used in pure aqueous conditions.

Flexibility

ODS-BP Series have enhanced mechanical stability and are suitable for use in DAC columns. Since they are fully endcapped, they show similar selectivity as conventional C18 phases when used with hydrophobic compounds and typical reversed phase eluents for added flexibility.

Proprietary Endcapping

Proprietary trimethylsilyl endcapping groups on the ODS-BP phases shield the C18 bonding to enhance hydrophilicity.
